Pan Dulce is the name for a variety of Mexican Pastries. The creation of sweet bread was influenced by the French and Spaniards. The bread itself is a slightly sweet, rich egg bread. The rolls are topped with a patterned sweet dough made out of butter, shortening, sugar, and flour.
